Has it been that long?
November 6th, 2005Has it been that long since I’ve posted something? Time has flown by. What has happened since my last post? Let’s see.
Last week: I had my interview with the web guy and it looks like he’s going to let me try a few projects out and see how we mesh together. Pray that things will work out!
This past week: We’ve gotten quite a few orders for cornhole sets, which means I’ll be busy this week painting. God’s truely been blessing us and our little business and providing for us. I also had the privilege of being a substitute teacher at the school where Sarah teaches (Xenia Nazarene Christian). It was my first time ever subbing in a high school. Easy money if you ever need some.
Saturday: Was full for me from 7:30am-12:30pm. I got to play golf in the morning with a few friends and finally get to use my new/used golf clubs that I picked up at Goodwill. Probably will be my last time for this year. Shot a 105. Not bad I guess for only playing 5 times in my life. I’m getting better! After golf, went straight to basketball practice with the Jr. High Boys team until 3:00pm. Then it was off to my inlaws’ to get ready for our Sunday School’s “Young Adult/Married Couples”Harvest Party. Ate all kinds of good food, sat by the bonfire, went on a hayride, bobbed for apples, and played games. (cornhole of course) We had about 40 people total and lots of fun. After that it was back home to get ready for Sunday’s lunch with the Kura’s!
Sunday: Dave and Jessica Kura were in town visiting friends and we got to spend a few hours with them and their dog Emma at our house! Had lunch, talked and caught up on a lot of stuff, played some cornhole and watched Rocko and Emma chase each other around the house and out in the yard. It was great to see them again!!
Now it’s Sunday night. What a weekend!
p.s.-Unfortunately you won’t be seeing any pics for a while as our digital camera (that we’ve only had for 2 months) has decided to stop working and is currently being repaired. So it’ll have to be all text for a while.
