Sorry guys. Things “as always” have been busy in the Kinnison world, but going well. So without further delay, here is an update to our crazy, “wonderful”lives. Well, Sarah and I are still in Xenia, OH at our house somewhat out in the country. I don’t believe I’ve ever shared a picture of it before. I’ll have to dig one up and show sometime. We’ve done a lot of work to it since we moved in this time last year. We’ve had to redo a laundry room, lots of painting and a ton of landscaping work. But after a year of sweat and tears it’s looking pretty darn good. We’ve also ordered new windows so that will be a huge improvement to our current aluminum windows that are drafty. As they say in home owning, there’s always something to work on. We are still living the childrenless life. Nothing in the near future, at least that’s the plan. Sarah is finishing up her grad school work in School Psychology and is going to be looking for a full-time gig this summer so maybe after she gets a position with a school system we might start trying for kids. I (Travis) am still working at Lastar, Inc. (better known as Cables To Go) in Dayton, OH. I’ve been there for almost a year and a half now. Everyone (designers) that was there when I first started have all left and now I’m the most senior designer (even though my nameplate doesn’t say that. ) We’re still doing the custom cornhole games thing on the side as well, for those who knew we were making them. It’s getting warmer out so the interest has been picking up again. I’ve been doing some freelance work on and off again so that has been nice additional income as well.

Hmm. what else.. I went to my first Ohio State football game with my brother last fall. He’s currently a student there so I got to go with him to the game against Minnesota. I think they won like 42-0 or something like that. It was great. The basketball team that I’ve been helping coach for the last 3 seasons ended with a winning record. I think we were 16-5. A LOT better than our record last year of 0-15. Just a litte better. HA. I’m going to be having another nephew soon. My sister is working on her 2nd boy. My other nephew (#1) is growing so fast. I don’t get to see him much so everytime we see him he’s grown so much and talks a lot more each time. He’s one of the smartest 2 yr. olds I’ve seen. Some of the things he does and says I don’t think I did until 5th grade. If you were to go around in our house you would have thought we had a kid ourselves, but it’s all him. I think there are more pics of him around the house than of me and Sarah. Right now, Sarah is taking her Praxis test to be officially certified to being a school psych. Once she passes this test she can go get a full-time job. So pray she passes. She’s been working hard on studying for the past month so hopefully things will work out. I’ll let you know if she passes as soon as we find out. I’ve got about 5 min. before she gets done so I gotta wrap this up and go pick her up.
