Hello everyone,

I’ve stepped into the frightening world of home buying this past weekend. Sarah and I looked at a house this past week that is just outside of town here (Xenia, OH) and put an offer on it. We’ve been somewhat browsing the real estate scene for the last few months, but not seriously looking. Well, this one kinda pushed us over the edge. Everything seemed right about it inside and out. Not to mention the price.

So…we got a response back last night and they accepted the offer! Which means, that I’m finally catching up to the Pence’s, Kura’s, Dube’s, and whomever else owns a house. J/K. So now I have 30 days to decide how we’re going to paint, decorate, what to fix first, what to buy, and of course how I’m going to get High Speed Internet, because when I checked the service availability with SBC they don’t offer it in that area (in the country)! So I’m going to cry if I have to go back to dial-up. Oh well. And speaking of wells, I’m going to have one of those too and I’ve never been fond of drinking well water. But, my wife’s a country girl and she gets what she wants. I take care of her. haha. I wanted a house in the city, but she wouldn’t have anything to do with it. So you can see how she gets me.

Well, I think this is a record for me as far as posting 2 times in a month. Better get it in now before we have to move and do all that fun home decorating or you’ll never hear from me. That and I won’t have time for the dial-up to go through and wait for the pages to load.
