I’m baaaaaack!
I wanted to say sorry it’s been so long, but I’ve used that one too many times already. Let me just say that I have been extremely busy these last few months that I’m way past the stressed out stage. But, God’s seen me through everything so far so I have no dobut that I’ll get through it all. Ok. On to the massive updating that I have to give you.
On January 9th, 2006, I started working full-time for a company called Lastar Inc. working in their Creative Services Deptartment. There were two designers and a Creative Services Manager. Me being the third designer. After a month of working there one of the designers moved on to an Ad agency. After another three weeks, the other designer is leaving and tomorrow is her last day. So, that leaves me and the manager. We’ll see what happens. It’s just been super busy lately and there doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the “work” day to get everything done. The work experience itself has been good. I’m getting some good projects to work on that get a lot of visibility. I just recently got to create graphics for a 22′x8′ tradeshow display that turned out really nice and got to design a few pieces that are to go along with the display as mailers and flyers. My ability to produce 3D renderings has been a huge asset to them and I’m really excited about the possibilities that it could have too. I’ll post some of them if I am allowed.
The basketball team that I helped coach this winter ended it’s season at 0-15. I asked you guys to pray for us a while back, but I guess nobody did.
HAHA. And it wasn’t the coaching either! We just had a young, in-experienced team that was playing older, experienced boys. I’m sure they’ll turn it around next year.
The cornhole business side of my “Enterprise” is still in full swing. It’s getting warmer out and the orders are seeming to come in more often. I just need to figure out a way to balance my time between freelance work and painting cornhole games. I’m thinking it’s going to come down to eliminating one or the other and I’m leaning toward cutting out/down the freelance work. So far we’ve shipped to places in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Wisconsin, West Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Texas, Missouri, Illinois, and the far, far Californ - I - A.
Well, again I’m sorry I haven’t been posting. I’ve just not had the time to sit and write. Hope all is well out there. You know who you are.

Hey Travis,
Since you guys are losing a couple of designers, are there any openings they are hiring for. Jon is still looking for a full-time graphic design job. I’m sure he would jump at the chance to work there. Please e-mail me and let me know any info you may have or contact info for the company.
Thanks man, God Bless, Mary Lessing
